The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce will host Business Speaks at the State House on January 29, 2013 at 4 p.m. Business Speaks, a town hall gathering of more than 400 of South Carolina's leading business people, constitutional officers and members of the General Assembly, provides a special opportunity to hear updates on the South Carolina Chamber's 2013 Competitiveness Agenda and speak with House and Senate leaders. Key Senate and House members will participate in an open panel discussion on important business issues such as tax reform, health care costs, infrastructure needs, energy concerns and workforce development.
During the town hall meeting, the Chamber will honor legislators who scored 100 percent on the Chamber's 2012 Legislative Scorecard and are strong advocates of business. These leaders will be presented with the Business Advocate Award.
A reception will follow the town hall meeting from 6-8 p.m.

Cancellation Policy
If unable to attend, substitutions are welcome anytime prior to the event. A 50 percent processing fee applies to all cancellations. Registrants are responsible for the full registration fee for any cancellation made after 5 p.m., seven days prior to event. Registration fees will not be refunded or waived after that date. No-shows will be charged the full registration fee.
